The Insititute of Fun is an idea for a meeting place within the gallery, to instigate fun activity to take place somewhere outside of the gallery. At an alotted time each day people would be encouraged to meet with me in the gallery. Here we would discuss possible activities for the coming day, and then pursue them accordingly. These activities might include trips to places outside of Brighton, sporting activities, museum visits, or whatever was decided to be the fun activity of the day. At the end of each day photographs and notes would be pinned up on a noticeboard within the gallery, the idea being that any visitors to the gallery would see what activities had been taking place, and hopefully be encouraged to meet the next day and join in.
